Beckett says she's volunteered to be on desk all day except for Crisis One calls. She just wants to work, because she's excited to be back.īeckett calls for a line-up. Theo asks what's going on with her and she just says that her friend died. Vic didn't know Theo was subbing and Theo didn't know Vic was coming back to work. Jack walks in and Vic has flashbacks to them together in the bathroom. At the front desk, they see Theo, who is subbing for the day. He asks Vic about Theo and she says he was doing laundry last night. He denies hating it, but admits it felt like too much. Travis and Vic discuss the painting as they enter the station. Vic comes in, finishing a call with Teddy, who has cleared her to return to work. Travis is stunned into silence, but denies hating it. He goes to get Travis's Christmas present and brings back a portrait of Travis in bed. Travis and Emmett are making out when Emmett stops and says he can't wait any longer. The cookie is good, though, and she pulls Carina in for a kiss. After she's gone, Carina feeds Maya a cookie and admits she doens't know what to do for Andy. Maya says she can't keep her divorce papers in there forever, but Andy says no rule says that.


She goes to the freezer and ignores the packet in there while she grabs some ice cream. Carina suggests that she keep it, but Maya says she's not taking a toy from a needy child. Maya says she always wanted a GI Joe set. A timer goes off and Carina goes to get the cookies out of the oven. Maya and Carina talk about the toys they've purchased for Toys for Tots. Jack says yes, because Marsha took his whiskey. Ben asks if he's going to be sober for shift tomorrow. Jack says he hates everything when Ben confirms that Dean's parents are officially contesting his will and are restricting Ben and Bailey's access to Pru. Marsha excuses herself, leaving Jack and Ben alone. Marsha is with him and tells Ben that Jack is drunk. While he's watching her, Jack runs into him. The two women are forced to jump off the ledge after a street performer throws a torch into the leak. Despite the possibility of an explosion from a fuel leak, the new captain at Station 19 ordered Bishop and Herrera to climb up on the turned-over fire truck. As a result, the new captain of Station 19 orders that he be transported on foot. The overturned fire truck obstructs traffic, preventing the AID car from transporting the patient to Grey Sloan. They take a sharp curve too soon after stealing the rig, and it rolls over. With an illegal firework, the patient shot himself in the face. He does, however, leave the fire truck door unlocked, which three fairgoers attempt to take in order to save their comrade. She hasn’t spoken to him in ten months, and now he wants to chat with her.
